Covering of glass-fibre reinforced materials (GFRP) for new construction and reconstruction of clarification plants and landfills
A German company, active in civil and mechanical engineering, has developed covers of glass-fibre reinforced polyester resin to reduce odour and acoustic noise emission and/or to avoid the infiltration of contaminants and rainwater in process basins. The application range is wide, e.g. for clarification plants, industrial plants, drinking water plants. The company is looking for partners from industry for commercial agreements with technical assistance or services agreements.

The company is a specialist for carbon fibre reinforced (CFRP) and glass-fibre reinforced materials (GFRP) barriers from glass-fibre reinforced polyester resin (DIN-certified). With the selection of the materials, the general guidelines of the plastic construction are used. The elements are manufactured in the hand laminate and/or vacuum method. Special elements can be integrated into the cover such as connecting pieces, revision valves and machine openings, strips and holding traverses. The surfaces are produced in fine structure, groove structure or with sand layer in RAL colours.
The covers can be used for disposals, clarification plants, and industrial plants and for extraordinary constructions - for new buildings such as reconstructions. The surface is produced as a protecting coating against UV and abrasion.
The company is looking for industrial partners, and is offering the technology for acquisition in the frame of commercial agreements with technical assistance. On special customer´s technological requirements the company can be received under a services agreement.
