Han-sur-Lesse, a small village in the Belgian Ardennes, boasts two of the country’s main attractions: the famous Caves of Han, which has been known for over 2 centuries and attracts some 300,000 visitors a year, and the Wild Animal Park, which plays host to the main animal species in Europe. New : the visit of the Animal Park can also by done by foot or by safari-car. Add the PrehistoHan that combines a museum of the artifacts discovered in the Caves and a 3D-show and you have got the Domain of the Caves of Han !
The prestigious Michelin guidebook gave the Caves of Han a 3-star rating and call it a “must-be-seen”. The Caves are the only tourist attraction in Belgium to have 3 stars in the Michelin.
The guided tour of the Caves of Han is done in English, but also – it is a first for a Belgian attraction - with an audio-guide in Hebrew.
