This Italian company, established in 1913, offers fish and food preserves under distribution services agreements with
international partners. The production cycle is entirely carried out in Italy, starting from “round” yellowfin tunas. Thanks to
its dedication to quality and its ability to combine technology and tradition, the company guarantees a premium quality
product, appreciated and established in the Italian and international markets.
The company was the first producer in Calabria, and among the first in Italy, to process the highly appreciated
Mediterranean tuna fish. From the very beginning, the product was immediately characterized for its premium quality,
and in 1926 it was awarded with the license of purveyor to the Royal Household.
Today, the company has grown in sales, has established itself in the national and international market, and has obtained
important certifications and acknowledgements.
To guarantee a high quality standard, the company has chosen to maintain all the production in Italy, using Yellowfin
Tuna (Thunnus Albacares). Besides tuna products, the range of products of the company includes other fish preserves,
such as anchovies, cod fillets, salmon and mackerel, and other food preserves, such as jams, honey and 'nduja
(Calabrian spicy salami).
Premium quality anchovies in extra virgin olive oil, are available in glass jars and made completely by hand. Cod fillets in
olive oil are packed by hand in the company facility. Salmon fillets in olive oil are packed by hand. Mackerel fillets are packed by hand and processed from fresh raw material.
The company also offers a wide range of jams, some of which coming from organic farming: these products are packed
in glass jars and they are available in different flavours.
Honey is available in three different flavours: organic sulla (a plant grown in Italy) honey, organic orange blossom honey,
organic forest honey).
The company also offers typical products obtained from the processing of pork such as 'Nduja, a typical salami from the
Calabria region characterized by a soft texture and very spicy taste.
The Italian company is looking for importers and distributors with the aim to present the products of the Italian company
to all the distribution channels and increase the presence of the brand in the market of reference. The cooperation will be
carried out under distribution services agreements.
Advantages and innovations
The production cycle is entirely carried out in Italy, starting from “round” Yellowfin tunas. The choice to use Yellowfin
Tuna is due to the compactness of its flesh which persists even after the thermal process used for the cooking, and then
for the sterilization of the finished product.
All the production process is made exclusively in Italy using the traditional methods of cleaning and selection of the tuna,
which are carried out, even today, completely by hand. The raw material used to make this product belongs to the
Yellowfin Tuna species ("Thunnus Albacares"), fished mainly in the Indian, Pacific and Atlantic oceans using fishing
methods that respect the marine ecosystem and the protected species, such as dolphins.
The company has BRC (British Retail Consortium) - IFS (International Food Standard) - KOSHER CERTIFICATIONS.
