Our company is a Govt. of India Enterprise under Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology. It was established in 1974 with an objective to commercially exploit the indigenous technologies developed by National Laboratories and R&D Institutions in the country. The company has developed a few products for the first time in the country through its own R&D efforts and in close association with the premier National & International Laboratories including Defense Laboratories.

We are sole manufacturers of C Band & X band Phase control Modules (PCMs) in the country. We are also manufacturing different types of ceramics components, PZT elements and Missile RADOME.

The company introduced axle counters in Indian Railways. These are being used for block proving and for track occupancy detection.  We manufacture single section as well as multi-section digital axle counters. These products have been developed in accordance with CENELEC standards.
