Presence and fall detection device based on RF technology for elderly care
The Vayyar HOME is a presence and fall detection device, mainly used for remote monitoring of elderly people. After a simple installation, it immediately begins to monitor the environment. Once a fall is detected, it will conduct a call to the pre-defined caregiver and call for help. It can be placed in the bedroom / bathroom since it maintains full privacy (no cameras), and the call for help is done passively, with no need for wearables / buttons. The product is >97% accurate. Additional health monitoring features will be supported in the future by our Gen 2 device, such as daily activity levels, daily patterns, gait analysis, respiration monitoring and security.
We make imaging sensors, based on RF technology, to track people and objects without using cameras.
Our RF SoC is the most advanced in the world, with 72 transceivers, flexible frequency bands (3-81GHz) and a DSP on the chip, all while keeping a small form factor and low cost.
We announced our D round of $109M in November 2019, led by Koch Disruptive Technologies, bringing us to a total of $188M in funding. We were founded in 2011, have ~170 employees and >30 patents.
