Gardabani Greenhouse project

The Gardabani Agri Park (GAP) is a visionary agricultural power house. GAP will produce all year round premium vegetables for the fast growing local retail and hospitality market, and at a later stage export its produce. The power house will cater to local needs through the use of the most advanced and innovative Israeli technologies, processes, and management. Located in the rural area of Gardabani, 40 KM south of Tbilisi, Georgia’s largest market, the 59-hectare land plot will host in the first stage 10 hectares of environmental controlled greenhouses. In addition, the project will include various support systems. This includes an in-house nursery, fertilization center, storage facilities and a distribution center. This will allow GAP to cater to the local agricultural community, thereby reducing operational costs and enhancing economy of scale processes. BDO has full and deep market research, initial design and comprehensive Feasibility Study. Government of Georgia already gave 58 hectares of land to this project. BDO is looking for strategic investor. In very short, what is produced in Georgia can be sold in EU countries (besides meat and dairy products) without custom taxes.
