The test center includes the following facilities: - Ventilation tunnel and fire testing – 600 meters long - Laboratory for testing fans under high temperatures The main activities conducted in the facility: In the fire testing facility – - Practical and theoretical training for the firefighting forces and other emergency forces. - Fire resistance testing of materials used for tunnel construction and for functional equipment. - Testing and validation of the fire detection and extinguishing systems for tunnels. - Testing the tunnel fan systems and equipment under realistic fire conditions.
