Nevada Governor's Office Mission to Israel

The Federation of Israeli Chambers Of Commerce hosted Governor Sandoval's business delegation to Israel in October 2013.The delegation consisted of  staff of the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development, members of the Nevada System of Higher Education and members of Nevada’s business community and local companies from Nevada.

The event included a trade seminar - "Invest in Nevada" held at the Tel-Aviv  Hilton hotel, where Israeli companies learned about projects in Nevada, legal issues on setting up business in the state as well as incentives and benefits for specific sectors.

Mr. Enrique Mazon from the Ministry of Economic Development, State of Nevada, introduced the potential for Israeli companies and economic organizations to invest in the State of Nevada. This includes the business opportunities and benefits which the government offers to companies interested in expanding their business to the American market.

Mr. Robert Boyle from the company TSKA (an architecture and building company) also gave a lecture approaching the subject of projects in Nevada.

Acoording to Governor Brian Sandoval, with similarly arid landscapes and complimentary expertise in water resource technology and management, Israel and Nevada have already established a partnership that will help both of our States into the future. With Nevada’s System of Higher Education playing an important role, this trade mission will help to solidify Nevada’s presence in the world regarding water technology and will also introduce the opportunities for advancement in Nevada’s UAV, indoor agriculture, and technology commercialization sectors.

The State of Neva offers various economic advantages to businesses. The Ministry of Economic Development (GOED) encourages promoting a strong and diversified economy by stimulating business expansion, conserving and encouraging entrepreneurial organization and supporting new businesses in order to achieve community development.
