Coco peat also known as Coco pith, Coir fiber pith, Coco peat dust or simply coir, produced when coconut husks are extracted for coir fiber. Coco peat is a multipurpose growing medium, which is very easy to use. Its air filled porosity and water holding capacity makes it the ideal medium for all plant growing applications.

Coco peat is a proven natural alternative to mined peat moss, therefore using it helps slow down peat extraction from environmentally sensitive swamps worldwide. Uses as a growing medium, Coco peat outperforms most of the popular brands of Peat and Sphagnum Moss.

Our Coco Peat is usually shipped in the form of compressed bales, briquettes, slabs or discs, the end user usually expands and aerates the compressed coco peat by the addition of water.

A single kilogram of coco peat will expand up to 15 liters of moist coco peat.

COCO PEAT BALE/ BLOCK

This is the most common format of coco peat. Our Coco peat bale comes as a compressed block of 5kg, which easily expands when water is added. This is one of our most popular products. Coco peat being in the compressed state maximum number of bales can be loaded and packed in to containers.

Our Coco peat bales of 5kg can be expanded for ready to use by adding water. The coco peat will take about 10 - 15 minutes for maximum expansion. What´s more, the fiber percentage in LMG Coco peat can be varied according to our customers’ requirements.

COCO PEAT COINS AND DISKS

Our Coco peat disks are designed especially for the nursery growers. Our Coco peat disks are available in different diameters, the most commonly used ones being 3cm, 5cm, 7.5cm and 10cms. The thickness of the disks can be varied according to customer requirements. A researched mix of our Coco peat is compressed in the shape of disks with a planting hole in them.

The disks can be hydrated with water and placed in planting pots. Seeds can be sown, for germination Of plants can be grown. Be assured that nature will do the rest.

COCO PEAT GROW BAGS

Our Coco peat grow bags are used widely as a plant substrate in soilless cultivation. They are manufactured by blending Coco peat with adequate quantities of short Coco peat fiber. This mixture is then compressed and packed loosely in a UV (ultra violet) sterilized black and white polythene bags. These bags come to you as ready-to-use planting containers. Holes for planting and draining can be made in the bags.

Grow bags customized to requirement are manufactured by us. The high quality of our sterilized polythene bags and our well researched substrate mixtures are widely accepted by our esteemed customers in agricultural and agricultural research industry.
