Früh Kölsch is a regional specialty beer and very delicious. A style distinctive to Cologne, the name Kölsch is protected by law so that only beers brewed in and around the city can bear the name. Früh is well regarded in the city and considered one of the best Kölsch. A very drinkable beer with an unsurpassed balance in Kölsch beer of malt and soft delicate hops. Pale gold in color with a good lasting head, the hoppy, dry finish is from using Hallertau and Tettnang hops. Probably the most famous place to drink Kölsch is the Tavern Früh near to the cathedral in Cologne (the second biggest brew house in Europe!!!)
