Our dairy, founded in 1952, is dedicated to the feta cheese production ever since.
• To achieve a truly authentic product, the family adhered to the traditional methods of production while its secrets have been passed down from their
nomadic forefathers, the Sarakatsani.
• Products exclusively made from Greek pasteurized sheep and goat milk, supplied mainly from free ranging herds located on the surrounding
mountainous areas.
• Widely recognized not only as the pioneer of organic feta production in Greece as well as a leader producer, but also as the main producer of portioned feta traditionally matured in beech tree barrels.
• Located in Central Greece, in a state of the art production plant of 10.000 sq.m., our dairy has:
- annual capacity over 15.000 tons of cheese
- processing capacity 150.000 ltrs of milk / shift
- packing capacity able to exceed 500pcs/min
• Traditional production techniques coexist alongside first-rate equipment & modern hygiene specifications.
• Contemporary technology and highest food safety standards, allow us not only to produce the authentic Greek cheeses, our ancestors used to make, but also to enhance product quality and prolong shelf-life.
Our products:
- Feta P.D.O. - A traditional product with a protected designation of origin status, produced from pasteurized sheep and goat’s milk; a tasty, flavourful cheese, rich in nutrients, which is considered to be among the finest cheeses. Its maximum moisture is 56% and its minimum fat content is 24%.
- Diced Feta - Cubed feta cheese available with or without herbs and infused in oil. Ideal for salads and savoury pies.
- White Cheeses - Available in a great variety of packages similar to those of feta cheese.
- Spreadable Cheeses - Spreadable cheeses are ideal for snacking. Spread it on toast or bread or use it and pizzas.
- Yellow Cheeses - Graviera is a hard sheep milk cheese. It has small blisters in the mass, salty flavour and rich aroma. Yellow cheeses are delicious plain, with olives and bread, or even with fresh fruits. Use yellow cheese crumbs for topping on pizza, spaghetti or other cooked dishes.
- Fresh Cheese -Manouri, Anthotyro and Myzithra are excellent quality fresh cheesed, produced with sheep and goat’s milk.
- Grillable Cheese - A cheese with a salty flavour, made from a mixture of cow’s, goat and sheep milk. Use it as an ingredient in salads or grill it and serve with vegetables.
- Labneh in oil, chili in oil, with mint in oil - Made from goat’s milk and has a cheese like consistency. It is commonly served in the Middle East for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Enjoy it with tomatoes and olives or spread it on bread, bagels or pies.
- Yoghurt - The authentic Greek yoghurt, produced for centuries exclusively from fresh sheep’s milk; creamy, aromatic, with a uniform compact texture, one of the top health foods. Although it is best to eat it plain, you can add fresh fruits or honey for a healthy snack.
