B.You Açaí Smoothie is the first product of the B.You family. Below are the main differentials and unique selling point of our first product launched. 

1) Although there are a few frozen acai pulp brands in Israel, B.You Acai Smoothie would be the first acai smoothie in a Tetrapak to be introduced.  It has 38% of açaí pulp in it, which is by far greater than any competitor you will find out there, giving it a more consistent form as well as a superior taste and nutritional benefits. The similar products currently in the market range from 3-10% açaí pulp, at the moment. 

2) We have designed a product formulation along with a well renown food engineer in Brazil that allows the product to be able to be consumed both as is sold, in its creamy smoothie consistency, and also frozen and blended into a rich thicker consistency made into an açaí bowl. This allows for a variation of consumption habits regarding when, where and how not only for end users but also for the food service industry, with establishments such as restaurants, cafes and hotels. This is also an advantage compared to the frozen pulp version, which doesn't have the versatility to be defrosted and drank as a smoothie, as producers use high quantities of sugar to make it a creamy consistency when frozen so when you defrost it it's incredibly sweet and not so healthy.

3) The fact it comes in a Tetrapak, with 12 months shelf life, without losing any of its nutritional properties, consistency or taste also brings benefits both for potential distributors, retailers and consumers. For distributors and retailers it has a logistics cost benefit where our product doesn’t have to be shipped or stored in a refrigerated container or warehouse. For retailers it has a potential of having a far greater turnover than the frozen pulp açaí version, since there is usually limited store space for frozen products, which also has a lower visibility to the shopper than the Tetrapak juices on the eye-height shelves. And finally, for the consumer, it allows them to be more frequent buyers since the frozen pulp açaí is usually only sold in 5 or 10kg packs which people rarely have where to store at home, thus potentially increasing overall açaí consumption at large. 

4) Exclusivity and health benefits. This superfruit’s consumption has spiked greatly in the last few years with people adhering to healthier consumption habits. It has become a worldwide trend and people all over the world seek this superfruit for multiple different reasons, be it for its energetic, nutritious or health characteristics. The fact that it comes straight from the Brazilian Amazon makes it even more exclusive and desirable, apart from the numerous health benefits it brings.

5) Compatibility with Israel's tropical climate. The weather in Mexico makes it an extremely desirable product as it is warm all year round and this product is extremely refreshing, since it is meant to be consumed very cold.
