Chain of stylish short-term rentals in Brussels, Antwerp and Liège (Belgium)

Our company is a Belgian start-up founded in 2012 by Tarik Hennen and Alexandre Szmaj. We develop a chain of stylish short-term rentals in Brussels, Antwerp and Liège (Belgium). We use smart technologies to offer guests the convenience of short-term apartment rentals with premium hotel amenities, such as keyless check-in and 24/7 concierge service. With a 12 people team, Smartflats operates over 60 apartments and forecasts to reach 100 flats by the end of 2016.

Smartflats won the Brussels-Capital Region prize awarded after participating in the Microsoft Innovation Boostcamp in Brussels. Smartflats is also a laureate of the “Reseau Entreprendre Brussels” and benefited from the support of the Brussels-Region Investment company (BRUSTART).

The company was launched in September 2015 by founders with the aim to develop coworking and meeting spaces by leveraging the business model and technologies of the company. Thanks to smart technologies, our  company's spaces and amenities will be bookable online and accessible 24/7 for corporations, start-ups and business travellers. In 2016, we will open 3 spaces in top tier locations in Brussels and Liège (before expanding to Antwerp).
