Expanded metals are becoming more and more popular each day on building facade systems and sun shades for facades since they are an economical and light-weight solution.
Expanded metal panels can be manufactured from aluminum, copper, stainless steel, black sheet, titanium-zinc alloy corten materials etc.. Their single piece structure makes them durable and firm structural material.
Expanded metals are firm, durable and economical products. They are made by elongation under heavy tonnage presses with special moulds which can form different size and geometry of cell shapes from variable thickness of metal plates. They can be manufactured with cell shapes as diamond shape, jalousie shape, honeycomb shape and lambda shape which is designed by our company.

The expanded metals can be manufactured with various dimensions of cell shapes depending on where the panel is intended to be used.

Aluminum plates are usually preferred on expanded metals that is used in building facade systems in order to minimize structural loads due to Aluminum being a light-weight metal.
After the expanding operation, Aluminum plates can be welded inside or on the aluminum frames if desired.
As coating, eloxal (anodic oxidation), electrostatic powder paint and industrial painting alternatives are chosen with respect to the clients’ needs and applied by our solution partners which are experts on their field.
Standard mounting of the expanded metals on building facades allows visibility on both sides. Also, if there is a spot desired to be hidden on the surface, the expanded metal panel can be mounted in a reversed manner in order to block vision and hide the desired spot on the building surface.
The permeability (light) of panels should be less if they are to be mounted on the building surface which are desired to be hidden visually.
Building facades can be assembled in various ways. They can be mounted on facade construction with standard profiles or can be assembled on the construction with special connecting apparatus.
