Description of the procurement:
The provision of project management and expert owner’s engineer services to the Contracting Entity for the Cyprus – Greece (Crete) Link of the EuroAsia Interconnector falling under category 71300000 of the CPV classification. Services are to be provided following award of the major supply and installation contracts for the HVDC converter and high voltage cables. The object of the contract is to assist the Contracting Entity with the project and construction management and to deliver the project in time and budget with the highest level of quality. The provided services include, amongst others, the following:
• project, contracts and construction management services,
• site supervision and quality assurance services,
• review of converter, cable and electrode design submissions for conformance with employer requirements,
• review of factory test procedures and test results for acceptance,
• witnessing of select converter equipment and cable factory tests,
• provide monitoring and responses to supplier requests for information during construction and installation phases,
• monitor and witness on site commissioning activities on behalf of the Contracting Entity,
• support the Contracting Entity with project interface coordination,
• support the Contracting Entity during engagement with other project stakeholders as necessary throughout implementation phase of the project.
