The European patent for all-glass surface  

The new only glass window presents a small frame-profile jointed to the inner surface of the insulating glazing unit, in place of the traditional outer frame. The low profile can be made of wood, aluminum with thermal break or of GFRP. The the frame-profile jointed to the glass becomes structurally cooperative, thus creating a self-supporting double glazing for the mobile window doors.

This new technology is able to change the thinking and constructing way for the window because the sash made of only glass is very elegant and resistant, it reaches the maximum energy efficiency currently possible

The idea was born about ten years ago in the University field, during a research on the structural junctions.

Invisible Window significantly reduces thermal dispersion outside both in the cold and hot seasons. Moreover it allows energy saving for artificial lighting.

Low carbon emissions for both production and transportation.

Most durability of the window frame because the frame-profile is placed inside the glass unit and protected from the external agents.

Versatility: production options with double or triple glass, morrored and colored glasses, self-cleaning, anti-theft, etc.

Flexibility: freedom in choice of movements (tilt, turn, sliding) and of accessories (on the market or ad hoc). For new or existing buildings

The innovative window costs less than a traditional one because it conists of fewer components and therefore material and transport costs are significantly reduced.
