Organic Cosmetics
Our company developed the first organic cosmetic line in Argentina, an innovation for the daily skin care, balancing nature and your needs. Every element included in the elaboration chain of our products complies with the strict standards required by OIA (Org.Int.Agrop.), USDA ( NOP) and the Argentinian Organic Regulation equivalent to the European Union Organic Standards for the raw materials used. Thus, we guarantee an organic final product.
Our organic cosmetic line is certified under the NOP EEUU standard and the Argentinean organic standard, compatible with the European standard. Our company has been doing business for more than 20 years in the skincare segment. In 2006, when the first effects of the use of synthetic preservatives started to appear, we began to be concerned because we did not know the impact the use of these ingredients had on our health.
Thus, we decided to create a division that would focus research to the development of a cosmetic line from organic agriculture. Our company is born to address the needs of people, who request a change. The development of the final formula, which is improved constantly, took 4 years of trials and errors. Research and training in the most important markets of the organic world, along with the expertise gained in the different shows and exhibitions worldwide and the great positioning of Argentina as organic producer with cultivations in Patagonia, the provinces of La Rioja, Catamarca, Mendoza, San Juan, from where our supplies come, have led our team of professionals to create what we currently know as Anamê Vio certified organic cosmetics. In this scenario, we support the principles of healthy living because we want our society to become a sustainable living environment and, above all, sustainable for future generations.
An organic product is considered as such when, in its entire production process, it was created under organic regulations; this means that the use of pesticides, herbicides and genetic modification are prohibited among other things. If it complies with the regulations, it can bear the organic seal; otherwise, not.
What is the difference with a natural product? Every organic product is natural since it only accepts nature’s process per se; however, a natural product is not necessarily organic. Natural products rely on traditional processes, where herbicides and agrochemicals are present; they can also be genetically modified.
